A matured Second Flush whole leaf grade from the extremely well-known Marybong Tea Estate of the Golden Valley, Darjeeling. A naturally roasted tea to enrich your palate with hints of charcoal-roasted nuts. A sharp underlining of the typical Darjeeling Second Flush flowery notes. This rare tea is the perfect creation to feel the Himalayan flora and fauna while undertaking the rocky yet aromatic journey through the pine trees.
PAIRING SUGGESTION
Smoked bacon, smoked salmon, smoked chicken. The Indian Tandoor delights are also a brilliant match with this tea. Chocolate cookies and brownies with hot chocolate sauce is also great. Dum Biriyani with chunky pieces of mutton, any spicy Mughlai dishes with hints of saffron are great complementary foods to have with this rather wild tea.
BEST ENJOYABLE
An absolute evening drink to be had after dark. Best while sitting by the side of a fireplace or at least while watching a movie with similar effect. Tastes best with Tandoor-cooked food and deep-fried fleshy tapas.
HEALTH BENEFITS
By reducing the acid refluxes, the Darjeeling tea helps to prevent indigestions and uncomfortable feeling in the stomach. After a decent meal, it is always suggested to drink with a cup or two to help the flow and procession of nutrients.
